Chef Eko began his culinary career back in 1992 at one of 5 stars hotel in Bali – Grand Hyatt Nusa Dua, holding the roles as Commis Chef. Expanding his experience internationally, he decide to worked at the Star Cruise Line MV Leo and MV Virgo as a Sous Chef that brings him to become a Sous Chef at Jumeirah International Dubai (Burj Al Arab).
In 2005, Chef Eko returned to Indonesia and worked at Shangri-La Surabaya as Executive Sous Chef. In 2008, before move to Hilton Maldives, he was in charge as FB Director at Aryaduta Palembang.
In his current role as Executive Chef at Novotel Bali Nusa Dua since April 22nd, 2019, Chef Eko oversees the creative and strategic initiatives of all culinary operations of the 169-room and suites including The Square Restaurant, Gourmet Bar, Pause Cafe and 2.28 Beach Club. As well as In Room Dining and Banquets.
Eko studied Culinary Arts at BLTP/STP - Food Production and Management Diploma Hotel and Tourism Training Institute Bali and afterward he’s followed certification and training for managerial skill.
