Nature Love : Baby Turtle Release

Novotel Bali Nusa Dua, the winner of Accor Hotels Malaysia-Indonesia-Singapore CSR Award 2011, has been actively engaged in nature conservancy efforts, and had initiated the Nature Love Projects within the hotel. The 2 major projects are Composting and Turtle Breeding.

The Turtle Breeding team has continuously shared important messages of turtle conservation to their colleagues at the hotel to raise awareness and has liaised with Turtle Conservation and Education Center in Serangan Island since early April 2012.

To broaden the turtle conservation awareness among the internal staffs also their guests, the team held a baby turtle adoption program on Friday, 1 June 2012 at 2.28 Beach Club Novotel Bali Nusa Dua. In this event, guests are able to adopt baby turtle, then participate in their release back to the sea, its original habitat. The program was combined with the first ever “Family Welcome Party” held in the resort.
